I want to sell a 20year old land property and invest the half the proceeds in construction of a commercial complex for rent and other half for purchase of new land property. Will I have to pay LTCG? What is the complete procedure to avoid it?

first you can take benefit of cost inflation index if there is LTCG you have to fully invest in purchase new property or you can invest rest amount In national rural developmental bond.
