Integrated Grievance Management System

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) has lunched the Interated Grievance Management System (IGMS) , so from now Complaints can be lodged aganist the Insurance Companies throuh it.

 

Beside it the policy holders can can track the status of their complaints. For availing such services users have to register himself.For which the user can visit www.policyholder.gov.in

IGMS provides a good platform and way to all insurers to resolve policyholder grievances and provides IRDA with a tool to monitor the effectiveness of the grivance redress system of insurers which help it.

1. Integrated Grievance Management System (IGMS):

IRDA has implemented a system solution named Integrated Grievance Management System (IGMS) to enable policyholders to login their complaints directly with IRDA, in case they are not satisfied with the resolution offered by the concerned insurance company. Please note that this facility can be used only of there is unsatisfactory response / no response by insurance company, within 15 days of lodging your complaint with Insurance company.

Key benefits of IGMS:

  • It is a single gateway for policyholders to register complaints with insurers
  • Comprehensive and transparent solution- end to end tracking of compliant resolution available to the policyholder
  • Web based interface to allow online web any time access to policyholder
  • Complete access and control available with IRDA to permit better monitoring of market conduct issues of insures
  • Contains useful info about the Insurance Ombudsman and grievance redressal procedure of each insurer
  • Permits complaint lodgement through e-mail/ voice mode also.

Very Nice Sanjay Sir..... It's also required.. Very Complicated all the time.. Also required 3rd Party Who Guide Common Man Which Policy Adopt.. In market there is very much Compition for Selling Insurance as Vigitable..:-(
