LLP to Company conversion

Hi,

Is it possible to convert an LLP to a Private Limited Company? To begin with I do not want to burden myself with the statutory requirements & costs involved in a company & wish to take off as an LLP. But later on if I need to convert to Pvt. Ltd. is there a provision to do so?

Also I wish to know generally how long does it take to finish all the steps involved in LLP formation. Like for company formation, is it mandatory to take the services of a CS(or CA) for LLP registration or can it be done following the procedure given on the llp.gov.in website?

Hello,

As per my knowledge and understanding, there are provisions given for conversion of other entity into LLP. But as such no procedure is given for conversion of LLP into Pvt. co or other entity.

Rest for incorporation of LLP it may take 1-2 weeks time, and for certification purpose u need to have the help of professional.

Views of learned members are required.

Can you give me a brief about how much fees goes to MCA at each stage, say I wish to register an LLP with a capital of 1 lac, 3 partners out of which 1 would be designated partner, located in Andhra Pradesh.

I have gone through the fees info on the llp website but I couldn't grasp it fully.
