I have been submitting TDS returns for the last 5 years. After using the TDS feature in Tally followed by a few of the other dedicated TDS softwares in the market, I came across a software named JS @ eTDS whose trial version I downloaded from their website www.jcs-etds.com. As mentioned in their website, the software is really very simple to use. It got installed in less than a minute time & the process for feeding in the TDS data for both salaried and non-salaried deductees is absolutely precise and to the point. And the best part is that it has a trial version using which one can submit their first quarter returns without paying a single rupee. To my delight, the company provides full support over email or phone even for using the trial version. I must admit that this is the best software I have ever found and it is completely value for money.

As recommended I installed trial version of  JS @ eTDS  on my desktop and laptop. The installation failed on desktop OS W7 and on Laptop I do not find option button Add to add Group without which you cannot proceed. In adding company I get the button to add company but without selecting a group the creation of which is not possible the company cannot be created. Although the user interface seems friendly I doubt the quality as regards compatibility with operating systems.
