Hi,

I have passed CA Final in this May 2011. But I am still searching for jobs. May be because the market is bad or this time pass % is more or because of both. Its not about me alone but for many passouts the same situation.

I uploaded my resume in monster.com the day our results were out and i got a call from a company in bangalore for interview pay5.5 lacs but i took it lightly thinking about Campus. I have an interview on the day of campus . But I didn`t attend it too. Now I `m not getting any calls. So i joined in the firm in which i did my articleship.

Friends if you are unable to find a job join in your firm. They will take you immediately because this is September.

Now I decided to do additional courses like CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA, IFRS etc.

Its time we shall do additional courses so that the chances of securing a job is higher.

Consider doing CISA Course, which many CA firms partners and others also doing. It adds value to the resume than others. You can also consider to learn SAP-FICO course, which is much demanding in corporates today, as almost all big corporates have implemented it.

Now this is really a bad news i am a student of ca final year seeing this type of news really diappoints me did you get a job after that?

Hi Vikash,

I decided to go for practice. So i`m not considering any job options now. You are in final now. You concentrate on your studies. Try to improve your communication skills and also do some additional courses to beat the competion
