Lesson of life....

Once A professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it. He held it up for all to see; asked the students,

"How much do you think this glass weighs?'50gms!'?...'100gms!
....'125gms' ....

The students answered, " I really don't know unless I weigh it."

The professor said, 'Now, my question is: What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?'

'Nothing' the students said.

"OK what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?" the professor asked.

"Your arm would begin to ache" said one of the students.

"You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?"

"Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress & paralysis;have to go to hospital for sure! ventured another student", all the
students laughed.

"Very good. But during all this, did the weight of the glass change?" Asked the professor.

"No" was the reply of all the students

"Then what caused the arm to ache; the muscle to stress?" After a pause the professor asked "Before my arm ache What should I do?"

The students were puzzled.

"Put the glass down!" said one of the students.

"Exactly!" said the professor, "Life's problems are exactly like this. Hold it for a few minutes in your head; they seem OK. Think of them for a long time; they begin to ache. Hold it even longer; they begin to paralyze you.

You will not be able to do anything."

It's important to think of the challenges (problems) in your life, but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT to 'put them down' at the end of every day before you go to sleep. That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh; strong; can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!

Remember friends... to PUT THE GLASS DOWN EVERYDAY!

A WONDERFUL GIRL

There came a frantic knock at the doctor's office door.A knock, more urgent than he had ever heard before,"Come in, Come in," the impatient doctor said,"Come in, Come in, before you wake the dead."

In walked a frightened little girl, a child no more than nine.It was plain for all to see, she had troubles on her mind,"Oh doctor, I beg you, please come with me,My mother is surely dying, she's as sick as she can be.""I don't make house calls, bring your mother here,"

"But she's too sick, so you must come or she will die I fear,".The doctor, touched by her devotion, decided he would go,She said he would be blessed, more than he could know.

She led him to her house where her mother lay in bed.Her mother was so very sick she couldn't raise her head. But her eyes cried out for help and help her the doctor did.She would have died that very night had it not been for her kid.

The doctor got her fever down and she lived through the night. And morning brought the doctor signs, that she would be all right. The doctor said he had to leave but would return again by two.

And later he came back to check, just like he said he'd do.The mother praised the doctor for all the things he'd done.He told her she would have died, were it not for her little one,"How proud you must be of your wonderful little girl.It was her pleading that made me come, she is really quite a pear!"But doctor, my daughter died over three years ago.Is that the picture on the wall of the little girl you know?"

The doctors legs went limp for the picture on the wall.It Was the same little girl for whom he'd made this call. The doctor stood motionless, for quite a little while.

And then his solemn face, was broken by his smile,
He was thinking of that frantic knock heard at his office door,And of the beautiful little angel that had walked across his floor.

Have you ever wondered who has invented the "CTRL + ALT + DEL" key
Combination?

David Bradley

He is the one who spent 1 minute and 23 seconds writing the source code that has rescued and will continue to rescue PC users worldwide for decades.

This extraordinary IBM employee retired on Friday, January 14, 2005; after a prolonged service of 29 years. His formula forces obstinate computers to
restart when they no longer follow other commands. By 1980, Bradley was one of 12 people working on the debut. The engineers knew they had to design a
simple way to restart the computer whenever it fails to respond to the user.

Bradley wrote the code to make it work.

Bradley says -

"I did a lot of other things than Ctrl-Alt-Delete, but I'm famous for that one." His fame and success is achieved each time a PC user fails. He commented on his relationship with Bill gates by saying, "I may have invented it, but Bill gates made it famous by applying my formula when ever
any Microsoft's Windows operating system made by him CRASHES, thus I win when ever he loses."

                         friends................................

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. First day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence....

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.

He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. "A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. Friends are a very rare jewel indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us."

Winners have dreams;
Losers have schemes.........

A beggar was sitting at the train station with a bowl full of pencils. A young executive
passed by and dropped a dollar in the bowl. He then boarded the train. Before the doors
closed, something came to his mind and he went back to the beggar, grabbed a
bunch of pencils, and said, "They are priced right. After all you are a business person
and so am I," and he left.
Six months later, the executive attended a party. The beggar was also there in a suit and
tie. The beggar recognized the executive, went up to him and said, "You probably don't
recognize me but I remember you." He then narrated the incident that happened six
months before. The executive said, "Now that you have reminded me, I do recall that you
were begging. What are you doing here in your suit and tie?" The beggar replied, "You
probably don't know what you did for me that day. You were the first person in my life
who gave me back my dignity. You grabbed the bunch of pencils and said, 'They are
priced right. After all, you are a business person and so am 1.' After you left, I thought to
myself, what am I doing here? Why am I begging? I decided to do something
constructive with my life. I packed my bag, started working and here I am. I Just want to
thank you for giving me back my dignity. That incident changed my life."

LIFE IS AN ECHO
A little boy got angry with his mother and shouted at her, "I hate you, I hate you."
Because of fear of reprimand, he ran out of the house. He went up to the valley and
shouted, "I hate you, I hate you," and back came the echo, "I hate you, I hate you." This
was the first time in his life he had heard an echo. He got scared, went to his mother for
protection and said there was a bad boy in the valley who shouted "I hate you, I hate
you." The mother understood and she asked her son to go back and shout, "I love you, I
love you." The little boy went and shouted, "I love you, I love you," and back came the
echo. That taught the little boy a lesson that our life is like an echo: We get back what we
give.
Benjamin Franklin said, "When you are good to others, you are best to yourself."

Thanks aryan..........!!!!!!!!
