Late penalty charges
i filed a salary return on 31 aug this year.Due to some corrections i had to file a revised return on 2 nd of september.I forgot to verify the original return and verified only the revised return.Now i have a demand of 5000 for late filing.any help can this demand be avoided?

Time is still there to eVerify original return. Try to eVerify. If it's done then you can e-response about late fee demand of 5000/-
