Last date of Deposit of TDS

The last date to deposit TDS is 7th of the suceeding month.

Pls let me know if it is for quaterly payment

Nope it is  30th of the month. not 31st.

7th of April'08 is last date. But if any expenses provided/accrued as on 31st march 2008(where TDS is applicable) due date for remittance is 31st May'08.

For the TDS entry passed from 01.03.2008 to 30.03.2008----07.04.2008

For the TDS entry passed as on 31.03.2008 ---31.05.2008
