does an assessing officer has the power to ask for details from a non-banking financial instituion u/s 133(6) over which he has no jurisdiction subject to the geographical area?

thank you sir..but if an ao has jurisdiction in a city of kerela can he call for information from the mumbai brank of an nbfc which is out of his jurisdictional area
Yes, but with prior permission from the chief commissioner.
Secondly, department may transfer the enquiry through Mumbai CCI.
