Dear pravin,
The jobworker got an exemption limit of Rs. 20 lacs. If the annual turnover of job work charges exceeds Rs. 20 lacs he has to register under GST and pay tax. Till Rs. 20 lacs he is not liable. For availing this benefit the job worker has to register with GST.
Job work issue by the principal also a supply, but because of special provisions such supply will not be subject to GST.
