Job work has not been defined at any place.
It may amount to manufacture, if the process undertaken amounts to manufacture within meaning of Section 2(f) of the Central Excise Act. It amounts to rendering of service, as per definition of Business auxiliary service, when the process undertaken does not amount to manufacture.
