Dear professional colleagues,

My name is Prakash Ahuja. I am currently doing my CA Final & my brother is already a qualified CA. I have been informed by him that given the job market condition nowadays, there are instances of CA's who are doing odd jobs such as working in bank clerks, real estate agents & even (I am told) driving auto rickshaws. I do not know the correctness or details of such stories, but I would obviously like to have a stable profession, given the efforts & hard work I have put in.

Please advise me on the gravity of the situation & what should I do?

Dear Prakash,

Its correct that in recent time there are certain problems for Chartered in getting job as there is economic slow down all over the world but what you mentioned is not correct. You have to wait for a time and keep patience. So no need to worry.

There is a slowdown in job markets however the stories are not true.

Produced more crop than required/ expected.....by ICAI & ICSI...

But what about the future of young ppls???

Institutes don't care about it, keeping business oriented view only.

1) Adv/ promotions on TV channels, BUS, Railway, Exhibitions, newspapers etc...

2) Increased Exam fees, admission fee, membership fee, Seminar fee etc....

3) Increased course fee..training fees like GMCS, MSOP, TOP, SMTP etc..

........... burden lies on students and members only.... who are in the job, not satisfied and new comers not getting the job...!!!!!

Please don't spread such type of rumours. As far as job prospects are concerned for newly quulaified CAs are concerned, it might get delayed but its never " NEVER".
