one of my friend is just passed CPT , now he is registered for IPCC both groups + ATC..
he is confused about completion of ITT nd ORIENTATION training..
i want to know that,can he appear for his ITT nd ORIENTATION training.. after passing GROUP 1 of IPCC.

A student has to complete the ITT training and Orientation programme BEFORE registering as an article assistant.

So, in your friends case, he can appear after passing group 1 of IPCC. But after passing group 1 of IPCC he will be eligilble to start his articleship only after completing his ITT Training and Orientation Programme.

Yes Deepak is right, according to new announcement "The requirement regarding Information Technology Training/Computer Training Programme has been relaxed till the time of commencement of articled training / registration for the Final Course vide Board of Studies announcement no. BOS/Announcement/227/10 dated August 6, 2010 hosted on the Institute's website www.icai.org under "Board of Studies Announcements"
