Itr return not filed, notice received
Due to some unavoidable circumstances I could not file my itr return for f.y 2012-13 and now I Hv received a notice to furnish my response under compliance module for non filing of return. Is there any way that I can file the return now? Also please tell me how to furnish the compliance.

Dear Gargi,
If you had taxable income in year 2012-13 then you should had filed your income tax return for that year. In other case, just reply that you have not any taxable income in that year. And for filing itr for that year, you have to contact your Assessing Officer of your area.
