I filed ITR on 1-7-19 and received a letter of appreciation on 16-7-19, but the ITR is yet to be processed, I have no refund and a senior citizen, does it become like last year which took long time.

For your information, many of assessees have already received refund for AY 2019-20.....
Yes sir it is for 2018-19, you are right, that is a big surprise why it took more than a year
