ITR Filing for FY 2010-2011

Hi all experts..

This is my first time filing of Income Tax.

Kindly tell me what Forms are required for doing this....

1)ITR1(SAHAJ)

2)Form 16(Provided by Employer for salaried employees)

I have these TWO FORMS only with me right now

What other attachments do i need apart from these enclosures??...

I've heard that Other receipts are also required like..PPF passbooks,LIC receipts,Savings bank Passbooks,Rent Receipts(for HRA)...

Kindly help me...

You need to take bank passbook / statement for intt recd on saving account. as you have form 16 so you are not required to look for details/receipts ,voucher etc as emloyer must have already cheked these documents and on that basis they issue form 16. one more thing ask for his other income such as capital gains or other sources if he has income under this head than use ITR 2 .
