Yes, if Gross Income is upto Rs. 2.50 lacs.
penalty is only, if gross income above 250000
under which section it is written that..penality is apply only if gross buss income is more than 2.5 lacs
There will be no late filing fees to be levied as mentioned under section 234F of the income tax return filed after the deadline if the gross total income does not exceed the basic exemption limit,"
