Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the requirements for reporting salary income in ITR-2. It highlights that ITR-2 mandates the disclosure of all employer details, unlike ITR-1 or ITR-4. While online filing might allow aggregate salary figures, specific details are usually required. The conversation also touches upon reporting capital gains from mutual funds and shares within ITR-2.

You can show aggregate Salary if you are filing through online mode
ITR-1 is sufficient if you have only salary income
Itr 1
ITR-1 and ITR-4 donot require to fill employer details and salary allowance wise etc .

But ITR-2 requires you to provide employer details mandatorily.
Sir, I have Capital gain from Mutual funds and also some capital Gain from shares. so while filling ITR2 ihave to add both Sale value From.mutual fund +stock and show in ITR2 because no coloum in ITR to disclose separately separately
