ITR-2 Processing Time

I filed my ITR-2  Return for AY: 2019-20, two months before itself, but my return is not processed till date.

However my friend filed his return in ITR-1, just one month back and his return is processed and Refund paid.

Could any one tell me the reason....

Refund returns are processed on priority basis.
Keep patience for a month time.

My itr is for refund....but still it is not proceed......

have you any idea in how much time IT department is processing the return in refund case....or upto which period they have processed the itr
