1. What is your exact deductions details...?

You ll deduct in 80C column and VI-A column and others.

2. Yes... it will be added to salary head**

in my form 16, it is shown as any other exemption under allowance expemted u/s 10.

I filled it in itr 1 also. but my income remains the same. it should be deducted from my income?

If form 16 shown excempt then You can deduct or less the amount and feed the value. Read the instructions in ITR as **B1 i Salary (excluding all allowances, perquisites and profit in lieu of salary)***

thank you sir,

the amount of reward received is 3000, it is received from govt , and tds is also deducted.
even received from govt, still it is taxable income?

Its very simple logic... It's taxable income so only TDS deducted by the Dept.
