In ITR 1 its mentioned that if exempt income is more than 5000/- the assesse needs to file itr 2. in such cases salaried employeees recvng 15000 medicl reim n ppf intrest n othr exmptns u/s 10 vl always fal in itr 2

medical reimbursement is no income, though ppf interest and other incomes that are exempt u/s 10 will decide the limit of 5000.
