Itc on transit material

Dear Sir,

I heard the news from some one that we need to take ITC on as per the GSTR1 

Now my doubt is supplier is uploaded with GSTR1 but physically material not received in the particular month, in this case how to take ITC.

As per section 16 sub section 2(b) of the CGST act 2017 you must receive the goods for claiming  ITC .

You can book that bill in that month but the ITC can only be claim when you reced the goods
