ITC On Rail freight
Whether GST credit is available on the rail freight paid by transporter @ 5%. and if available to what extent available because in Gta RCM is applicable.

yes you can claim ... its depend on transporter if he raise builty with tax you can claim it ...

Yes if you pay tax on freight on RCM then ITC available....
If no builty raise then same is exempted.....

no madam we are paying freight to railway so we are paying GST and WE are goods transport agency so we are raising builty but on that RCM is applicable so can we collect GST from on that RCM and claim credit on that
No you can't.
one of my clent paid railway as freight as 49,30,587/- and gst is there on 43,785.44/-(5%)
So now ITC is avilable or not

One of my client paying Railway freight charges along with GST of 5%. GST who is sending the material. who has to take the credit on Railway Reciept. either sender or receiver who is receiving goods
