I am a proprietorship consultancy and often visit clients using Ola & Uber.
I have registered by GSTIN with Ola & Uber as corporate member.
Wanted to know ; if i can claim GST credit on my Ola & Uber trips to clients? I geta tax invoice with vendor's GST details ; but my GST details are not mentioned.
Please suggest.
No you cannot take the ITC, since your GST details are not mentioned in the invoice as per rules. This is the 1st step, then we will see whether ITC is available or not.
