ITC on Fees paid for employees

Hello Everyone,

if an employee pursuing MBA/CFA and company pays fees of that course than can company claim ITC on that?

No the company cannot claim ITC

Dear Sunil :

Section 16 Of CGST Act prescribed that ITC can be claim only if it is being "in the course of or Furtherance of Business"

& .That's for sure that it's not in course of Business , yes if it is Furtherance of Business ....... I don't ,think so.. Yes if it is some training program then in that case it can be "Furtherance of Business" ( the trained employee skills can be used in business)
