ITC on Bank Invoices

ITC / Input 250 views 4 replies
I have 2 Bank Accounts one Current Account and the other one is Savings Accounts I have given my GST Number in both the Accounts. The credit that is shown to me in 2A is of both the Accounts.

My query here is that (1) whether I can take the credit of both accounts which charge me gst or only from the current account which is used for business purposes.(2)If the answer to point 1 is no to savin account then, If that saving account is also used for some services in business then can I claim itc for that service.

You can only take the ITC if the bank issues Invoice with GST Regn Number of your business.

For the bank charges with respect to savings account i dont think Bank would issues invoice as there is no GST regn. number.

In case if the GST regn is given for both then you have to take ITC availed with respect to business purpose irrespective its savings or current.
Yes you can claime ITC on bank charges but cannot claime ITC if it's your savings or personal account
Thank You for quick response
your welcome sir
