Dear All,

please clearify that, Some one Trader is doing buisness of chemicals, trader purchase a commercial vehicle eeco goods carrier for carrying goods, can trader claim ITC of above, if yes what is the rule and notification.

Yes you can avail ITC on Motor Vehicle used for transportation of Goods, provided that all the FOUR conditions as laid down u/s 16(2) of the CGST Act 2017 is satisfied before claiming ITC.

SECTION 17(5) clause (aa) sub clause (ii) says that ITC on Motor Vehicles used for Transportation of Goods is not BLOCKED.

There is no such Notification regarding ITC on Motor Vehicles.
