i have purchased a car in my proprietorship
firm on the name of proprietor. can i claim the gst input in my books of account of gst paid in car invoice and insurance invoice.

ITC is not allowed on CAR
u cannot claim credit of motor vehicle or other conveyance [here Car] as per sec 17(5) i.e. blocked credit.
However u can claim credit of gst paid on insurance of car.
