ITC eligility
If payment of telephone bill for the the month of April,2018 is made on May,2018, then ITC can be claimed in the month of May,2018.

when you recorded the invoice in tally then you can claim itc
Expenditure pertaining to march 18
Expense will book in March , ITC would be claim in April18
Expense will book in March , ITC would be claim in April18
Itc can be claimed in may month
ITC can be claimed from the date of the invoice.
Hence in your case it can be claimed in the month of April, 2018 only.
