Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether businesses can claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) when paying 5% GST on transportation of goods by a Goods Transport Agency (GTA) under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM). The consensus is that ITC is indeed claimable for the recipient when the 5% GST is paid directly to the government under RCM. This applies even if the GTA is registered and the recipient is a registered dealer.

Yes , we can claim ITC
Yes ITC can be claimed
No, ITC available if you choose to pay 12% GST Notification No. 20/2017-Central Tax (Rate) 22nd August, 2017

That 5% is to be paid by you directly to the government under RCM. ITC is available

5% without ITC apply to the service provider not for service receiver, you can claim input
Yes 5% with ITC can be claimed
Thank u everyone

You can claim ITC in this case. Since you are paying to GST on RCM basis
