Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the issue of Input Tax Credit (ITC) for the financial year 2020-21 that appeared in GSTR-2A and company books but was not claimed in the GSTR-3B. While generally the deadline to claim such ITC has passed (typically 30th September of the following year), the thread explores potential avenues. These might include seeking clarification from a Chartered Accountant and submitting a report to tax authorities, especially if payments and filings were made within stipulated times. It also touches upon the legality of claiming ITC in GSTR-3B when the supplier filed their GSTR-1 after the due date but before the GSTR-3B deadline.

As per popular opinion ITC of 2020-21 cannot be taken now
