Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies eligibility for claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC) on capital goods when there's been no production for one year within the four-year period. The consensus is that even if production ceased for a year, the ITC claim remains valid as long as the business is ongoing. This means you are likely still eligible for the full five-year ITC claim and do not need to reverse the credit from the non-production year.

Please elaborate is it that there was no production of goods during one year??

 yes last year no production?

Yes, even if there was no production in the last FY, you are still eligible for the ITC because you are still continuing the business.
