Itc against output gst on rent

to be more precise.....i want to know whether input GST on management fees be adjusted output GST on rent????? and whether is there any rule that Output GST on rent can only be set off against Input GST on rent, if any and no other ITC.

Sir i wanted to know that if there is output liability of GST on account of Rental Income but there is ITC in relation to various services and not rent payment........can ITC from other services be claimed. We have been informed by a consultant that only ITC from rent payment be adjusted against output liability of GST and no other ITC.....is this true????? since we have not been provided with any notifiation, circular etc. in this regard....the matter is not clear to us

GST on Rental income recieved can be set off against other ITC (i.e Managment fees). There is no such rule that output GST on rent can be set off only against ITC of Rent

As long as the the ITC is in relation to your business you can set off agaisnt output GST on rent
