Dear All.,
We are the Incubation unit in STPI, also we have obtained STP unit registration last month as 100% EOU. I have heared that if we have the incubation in STPI we no need to pay the service tax portion of the rental amount. Can anyone please explain if it is correct. If yes means can you please mention the notification/ exemption section of contained law.

Dear sir,
Practicallly even I have come across many STP units paying some fee to STPI for their services quarterly.
As there is no exemption for the same , they are collecting the ST. So no reference can be given for levy of service tax with notification as now it is Negative list based taxation.
