I recently bought the Taxmann's Ravi M Kishore book of Cost accounting and financial accounting. Is that book and padukas sufficient for my preparation for exam and good knowledge as well?

Yes Sid_To_Be_CA, both the authors are good, a lot of matter is present in Taxmann's Ravi M Kishore book but for your kind information nothing is 100% perfect.
