we have operation in TN and Telengana, we have registered VAT for both States. we have already generated ARN for TN VAT, is it Mandate to register GST for Telengana. please clarify to proceed further

Hello O R,
As per GST law if you have operation in more than one state than it shall be mandatory to obtain different GSTIN hence different registration is mandatory.

And you can migrate to GST in both states with the same provisional id.
