Is deduction of tds required for online services received from a foreign country?
Sir, We are a South-India based deemed university and would like to use Facebook paid advt service. Facebook is providing service from abroad and the bill is to be settled to the company's Ireland account in foreign currency. We will use a credit card taken in the name of the university for the purpose. Is the payment to FB subject to TDS?

On the basis of various judgement, Tds is not required to be deducted from the payment made to FB because PE of FB is not located in India.
