Im going to register for CA and i have 63% in B.Com. Please let me know while the official announcement about the CPT is required or not.

Guys let it be announced officially at icai board of studies website it will take time but till then concentrate on your studies prepare for CPT...

"The matter is yet to be resolved between our president (Sri Sri Sri Ramaswamy) and Board of Studies" After that it is to be approved by all the IPCC students who have cleared CPT who had gone through that process. Every year new president will come and he wants to make his mark. Why that 15 min extra time introduced and now cancelled. Where the Institute is heading to???? Whether they are playing with the life of the students. There is no consitency in policies of the Institute even though we are forced to follow accounting policies consistently. |

Dear first of let me tell you one thing this announcement is approved by the board of studies, it is yet to approved by central govt,
second thing you already enrolled so compulsory you will have to crack CPT before going to IPCC.
YES., G Ramaswamy also said that Though it is approved by the central council of the ICAI, but the same is pending for the approval of the Union Govt.
