I am Krishna , I enrolled for CPT Course , I was not able to clear in last attempt . I am also Bcom Graduate with 65 % . Now i came to know through my friends and CA Club India that CPT is not required for Graduates . Is it TRUE ??? and whether students who have already enrolled for cpt like me should clear cpt and enter IPCC or we have also got provision to enroll for IPCC without Clearing CPT . . please please any one clarify me .. . It 's my humble request .
Yes. What you heard is right..This was announced by ICAI President in a meeting. But it is yet to announced by Board of Studies Officially in ICAI website. Till that time everything will be as before. So wait and watch.

Wait for the announcement..then u can go with the announcement and join in ipcc.

Not only cpt is exempted for graduated students, but today i have seen in dainik jagaran newspaper that graduation completed students can directly enter into articleship without passing of any IPCC group..But we should get the official announcement in this regard. Bcoz different newspapers are writing in different manners regarding the whole issue.

The announcement regarding CPT exemption for graduation students is expected to come within 10 days..most probably after cpt exam in this month..
If it is true that for B.Com. pass student is not required to go for CPT and can start articleship without any passing the IPCC. then it will be good news for CA profession.
