IF THE PROPERTY OWNER HAS NOT COLLECTED THE SERVICE TAX ON THE MONTHLY RENTAL(ASSUME RENT FROM A SINGLE PARTY EXCEEDS 8 LAKSH PER ANNUM), IS THERE ANY LIABILITY ON THE COMPANY SINCE HE IS RECEIVER OF THE SERVICES

Service Provider is liable to pay tax. If tax is not collected separately, the amount collected as rent will be taken as inclusive of service tax and service tax liablity will be calculated accordingly.
I agree . However if the rent agreement provides for taxes levied to be paid by tenant ....then contractual liability of the teneant wil arise
No the company is not liabile to pay the tax if the owner had not collected and pay the service tax, it is his fault who had not collected. and rightly said by Mr. Shyam it will be deemed that service tax is included in the rent portion.
No COmpany isnot liable to pay service tax since it is responsibility of Landlord to collect and pay to Authority
Company is not liable to pay as it is clearly mentioned in the act that service provider is liable to pay the tax
