Is CA tough?

Well i'd say that the course isnt tough... but by the time you complete the course, it makes u a tough person.....

ca is actually an overhyped course regarding its toughness

its actually easy to pass ipcc...bt dont know about the finals.

I DON'T THINK CA IS TOUGH COURSE . BUT ACCORDING TO ME IT A WAY TO GET PERFECTION IN BOTH PROFESSION AND LIFE.IN CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT [ CHARTERED  ] MEANS  SUPREME POWER , SO AS A CA  YOU  GET SUPREME POWER IN COMMERCE AS A PROFESSIONAL.   

bro ca isnt tough but its 60% hard work and 40% sheer luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and luck favours the brave :)

A systematic study together with adequate revision can ensure success in CA......i don't think it is a tough course....but IT IS VOLUMINOUS and hence early start of the preparation is a must.....

The CA Course is Highly DEMANDING... Not only as a Student, but Post Qualification also....

At the Same time it is REWARDING....

Nothing is Impossible dude

CA course is not tough but we are making the course tough... Those who doing in the right way will surely get through the CA course without further difficulies

Yaa right, CA course is not tough. Its all what we want to learn as a cooperate person.

Just its criteria to declare the results is tough. 

We hardly work for our exams and later if not passes then fault our Luck.

But till when we blame our Luck only... 

Its not we are not planning and studying, we are not working hard. But still not getting the desired results.

My Views

CA is tough but not Impossible 

Standards of CA are high and voluminous but it is being made tough and more difficult by these ICAI council members if you ask me. Bringing too many draconian rules in articleship, frequent course changes(with none of the changes helping the CA students to adapt to the changing needs of industry),etc. is bringing unwanted confusion and contributing to a lot of stress to CA students. Thats it.
