Is ca final really a hard nut?

In my opinion nothing is hard until achieving it is close to your heart. Examiners are human beings.. ICAI provides suggested answer to examiners but they are free to examine in judgemental basis taking the suggested answer as basis. Fluctuation of marks in different attempts is a common thing as the question changes, examiner changes and the way you express changes as per the demand of the question. I too cleared the Final exam in multiple attempt, the only thing I concieved is consistency in myself. I just thought yes it is an opportunity to gain theoritically. I never started to blame examiner or result percentage or the Institute. You just have to be consistent. Thank you.

don't loose faith in 3 attempts. It was my 17th unsuccessful attempt. give ur best in next attempt as new fresh one forget past. best of luck

same here. it was my 16th attempt of CA final. I know my fault, for passing you need to do atleast 4 to 5 readings of the study material in one attempt. Until i do this with seriousness i am never going to pass.

So find your fault first, and do work on it.

Pls tell some thing about isca...what to do? my first gourp is cleared. Is refer to classes for isca? If yes then whose class I should prefer?

Hi Friend, I cleared my CA in 9 attempts and feel the same way u r feeling. All my friends are CA are before me and even some of my students. But, I never kept me behind them in knowledge and package both. Although a difference is always there due to degree. This is the main reason that you are bothered. My Audit was weak so I joined a CA firm for good practical experience in Audit and there I go, I cleared.

You're completely right about the reason Tarun. It just makes you doubt yourself so much. I had even got my papers after results the previous two times and saw that I was right conceptually. Which anyway did not make any difference. Hope that I can stick to the suggested answers format. Thank you for sharing your experience!

There r so many factors affecting ur result, out of these many r not in ur hand ! So u just have to keep deep faith in god & in ur preparation & in icai. When a perfect time comes u will cleared. And guys this course is world's toughest course and having it such awesome worth, so be patient , keep calm cool & keep in ur mind above line of keep faith in.......

Dear Bhardwaj Study material provided by the institute is the best source to clear the CA exams. In my opinion you must read from new books if ICAI instead as a new beginning and remember hard work is done by everyone in CA exams but who succeed in these exams also do smart study with hard work. Just read the contents slowly, don't try to finish it rapidly, underline the most important lines, make ur hand notes, cut short the relevant words. In this way u can convert ur syllabus into 20 to 25% which will help u to revise the syllabus twice or thrice. Remember only u can make ur notes as per ur requirements. Just do it, success is not very far, prepare for it , keep patience, and do achieve it . All the best

Dear bharadwaj, There are Reference books for each subject which help you the best. Please follow them. I dont necessarily believe you should stick to icai material alone. You can do a search here in caclub india for best reference books for each subject.These will help you  in exploring numerous quetions and eventually help you in  presenting the paper well. I did the same 4 years ago and cleared in my first attempt. From my experience if you cover 100% syllabus before entering the exam you will have a fair chance of clearing any subject no matter what. AND howerver lengthy the exam might be try to attempt 100 marks .This is only possible if cover full syllabus .Dont leave any topic .just atleast have a glance, if not perfect AND remember never repeat the same mistake...
