CA attestation is not mandatory for filing IT Returns..
CA attestation is required onTax audit forms only if self employed people's business turnover exceeds 1 Crore rupees or in case of professionals Turnover limit is 50lakhs u/s 44AB

Thanks for ur revert on the same... Would request you to please let me. Knw that if the returns are not filled under sec 44ad or 44ab then whay would be the stance... Will then CA authorization will stand mandatory.. Or any income tax consultant can file the same
once self employed people opted for Presumptive taxation u/s 44AD or 44ADA them he needs to continue the same for minimum 5 years including current year then no need CA attestation ..
if any one withdraw from Presumptive taxation before 5 years then he liable for tax audit U/S 44AB and maintain books of accounts u/s 44AA then CA attestation is required for this situation so CA is required for this situation
