Hi, I have joined in IPCC without Articleship on Jan 2012 and taken Group- I attempt in NOV 2013, but unable to clear it.
Now, ICAI have introduced IPC/ Direct Entry SCheme. My Queries are: (I) Whether i need to convert IPCC to IPC and do compulsory Articleship for further exams OR (II) whether i need to covert IPCC to IPC can write further exams without articleship.
In IPC Application form i could see the option for without articleship scheme.
1. w.e.f. May’13 exams the nomenclature has been revised. There is no difference between IPCC and Intermediate (IPC).

2. If you convert to ‘Direct Entry Scheme’, then you will be eligible for exams after completion of 9 months of articleship mandatorily.

3. To start the articleship, first you need to complete ITT & Orientation Course.

4. Under ‘Direct Entry Scheme’, there is no option of with/without articleship.

If i passed under Direct Entry Scheme, whether it is considered as my First Attemt or second attempt as i am previously had one failed attempt in IPCC.
