Initial registration for then IPCC, now Intermediate (IPC) Course is valid for 4 years. For appearing in May 2014 examination, you should revalidate your registration.

PCC/IPCC students:

1. Initial registration for Professional Competence Course (PCC)/ Integrated
Professional Competence Course (IPCC) is valid for 4 years.

2. Revalidation of registration shall be done for further period of 4 years before
expiry of initial registration. Students who have got their registration revalidated
with the concerned Decentralised Offices may have the registration revalidated
every 4 years after the expiry of the earlier revalidated period.

3. Fee for revalidation is Rs. 400/- for each revalidation.

4. Students are required to ensure before applying for admission to PCC/ IPCC
examination that they have valid registration.

Candidates, whose period of initial registration has expired, may apply for revalidation by making an application on plain paper, together with the prescribed fee by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India,

payable at Mumbai/ Chennai/ Kolkata/ Kanpur/Delhi” as the case may be and forward the same to the Decentralised Office concerned at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur and Delhi.

The above decision of the Council shall be applicable from November,2011 examination onwards.

I m Registred as IPCC student at january,2010.and Betwen time gape of registration date and feb,2014,i had clear,IPCC 1st grp, Should i requir revalidation of IPCC  for appering  JUn 2014 exam Of IPCC 2nd Grp??

                i have registered for both group of ipcc in aug 2011. but unfortunately i can'nt appear one. if  i want to now proceed , i required to new registered or may be renewal  or may be nothing all this i can appear for nov 2015 exam or further ?

It is valid if you registered in 2013. It is valid till 2017, till the date of registration.

No you have to register again. It will cost you 400 rupess for revalidation.

sir my first attempt for ipcc is nov2012 then i tryed for next four attempts not cleared yet  but during the year2014, 2015 i'm not attended for exam also can i eligible for may2016 attempt sir please ..my registration no is  SRO0362920

No you have to register again. Fill the revalidation form with Rs400. Registeration is valid for only 4 yrs.
