I can Claim Exemption carryforward Acc and tax

Dear Kalimuthu,

As per my understanding,

if you had already claimed exemption for any of the paper/papers in that group,

for the period for which such exemption is valid,

you cannot claim further exemption from the same group

Hi Kalimuthu,

You have two options:-

Carry forward ur exemption in Tax from your previous attempt (In that case u cannot avail the exemption in A/Cs) 

OR

Forfeit the exemption in Tax and avail the exemption in A/C s you have obatined in this sitting.

In short exemptions obtained in two different sittings cannot be simultaneously carried forward. More than one exemption can be carried forward only in the case when it is obtained in a single sitting.
