ME too in same position
Tulsian is perfectly practical based but it I have seen its Bcom version alone. At IPCC level its so recent that Many seniors have not even heard of it !
Munish Bhandari seeme to be the most established one but I havent gone thru it.

go for MPV... none of padukas books are practical... their theme is dont understand and u will pass exam... i ve heard abt munish bhandari.. i dint read it ... i heard its good too... but i would suggest MPV for law, ethics and communication.. some people would say that ethics and communication is tough in MPV... oly the first few pages in ethics are so... after that u will enjoy reading it..

Friend your observation is correct about practical oriented exams.
As per my understanding do not go for ready made practical material or questions. Focus on understanding the section or chapter. Try and figure out practical question hidden in the section. Generate more queries while studying. Discuss them with your friends or post them in caclub. If you can develop such system of study then you can use any book or any book will be enough for you. Think about it...
In short it is all about attitude we need to develop towards professional exams.
Go for Munish Bhandari....
This is my personal thinking. Wait for other suitable suggestions.
