Ipcc exams may 2014

Please can someone please guide me on the following:

1) If I appear for only group 1 of IPCC exam (I have filled exam form for both groups), remain absent for group 2 and then write group 2 exams in Nov 14.  Will group 2 be considered as my second attempt?

2) If I decide to sit for both groups and fail in the group 2. And sit again for group 2 in Nov 14.  Will that be considered by second attempt for group 2?

thanks

Yes mam yu can do both option and will considered accordingly..however if u are planing to get exemption in any subjects of second group then yu have to attend all the subs. exam of seconds group.

Even you have filled exam form for only 1 group & then have given the other group in the next attempt then also it is considered as 2nd attempt as per ICAI.

I have noticed this in ICAI placements. Candidates who cleared single single group in first attempt were considered as 2nd attempt.

but in my opinion saumya u should go for both grp... as chayan said that if u give secnd grp after one attempt it will be counted in ur attempt....it doesnt matter that u gave first grp or secnd grp....

so whthr u prepared or nt abt scnd grp but go for it.....

all d bst.....smiley

Dear experts. Does the attempt really matter after becoming CA ?is it a hurdle in getting job?

Yes it is...
In campus selection there is a Bench marks in some companies
They say "First Attempts, get In - Other Category wait till the Vacancy gets Filled.

Dear friends what is the audit limit for ca for may 2014 exams ?
When ipcc is cleared in second attempt and final in first, will ipcc attempt matters???

Yes Attempt matters, when u will try articleship in top firm you may face some difficulties sometimes they clearly disclose that they recruit only first attempt students....

Thanks for the info.
