i have cleared my group1 of ipcc in may this year n started my articleship on aug 13.now i feel that i should change my workplace .there r 2 main reasons

1.the ca is quite rigid n doesnt give holidays for festivals if at all there is no work.

2.the stipend is as per icai norms but the timings r from 10 to 7.

   earlier i thought i will b able to manage but i dont think i can stretch it to 3 years.

i request u all to pplz suggest me as to change in workplace.should i switch to a company who is offering a gud stipend

 n also the timings r almost d same.as per new guidelines in d first year an IPCC student can change d workplace without any reason/can u tell me the procedure also???thanxxxxxxxxxxxx a lot for ur valuable advice

u can take transfer from your principal but only with his consent i.e his sign required on the forms to be submitted with ICAI.

My advice is u should first check the work exposure that you will get with new employer before taking transfer.

Transfer /termination of articles is permitted without any restriction during the first year of articles.

The articled assistants are required to get the consent of the Institute before getting Form 109 signed by the Principal in their own interest. The request, on any one or more of the aforesaid grounds, of an articled assistant on a plain paper alongwith the recommendation/ consent of the Principal for transfer / termination of articleship accompanied by evidence/proof (self-attested by the articled assistant) to the satisfaction of theInstitute be made. Request for transfer not accompanied by consent of Principal shall not be accepted.

You can say the reasons like your family needs more financial support which means you need more stipend to help your family or you are looking to have more exposure in different areas etc...

first of all see other firms and get it confirmed that there is not the same or even worst situation existing.........................never think abt stipend whether it is Rs.750 or Rs.5000.....always take it as UNEMPLOYMENT ALLOWANCE (Berozgari Bhatta)...........

 

follow the principles of ZEBRA CROSSING for crossing the road of a'sip.........means look at both side and assure that there is no vehicle coming and then take decision of crossing this road or not !!!!!!!

ive got a doubt.  If the transfer is unrestreicted for one year, is there a need to get the consent of the institute??
