Gross profit Margin on sale = G.P/salesX100.. .. .. .. For eg. Let cost of good sold be Rs.3,20,000 And sale be Rs.4,00,000. . So, gross profit Will be Rs.80,000. . . . . . . . So, profit Margin =80,000/4,00,000x100=20% . . . . . I think it's clear.
